Quality Engineering & Testing
Release changes with confidence — with a test strategy built into delivery, automation that catches regressions in minutes, and evidence that your systems perform under real load.
Is this for you?
You might need this if…
Releases are delayed by weeks of manual regression testing, or shipped with defects your users find first.
You have test automation, but the scripts break with every change and nobody trusts the results.
A major go-live is coming — an ERP upgrade, a new platform or a peak season — and you don’t know how the system behaves under load.
The business is asked to sign off acceptance tests without the time, structure or test data to do it properly.
What we deliver
What it covers
Test strategy and test management
We define what to test, at which level, by whom and when, and set up test management that gives clear, risk-based release decisions. Testing effort goes where the business risk is highest.
Test automation
We build maintainable automated tests at unit, API and UI level and run them in your CI/CD pipeline. Regression testing that took days runs in minutes on every change.
AI-driven test generation and maintenance
We use AI to generate test cases from requirements and code, create realistic test data and repair tests when the application changes. Coverage grows while maintenance effort falls.
Performance and load testing
We simulate realistic user volumes and peaks to find bottlenecks, capacity limits and breaking points before your users do. You go live knowing how the system will behave.
Accessibility and usability testing
We test applications against WCAG with automated tools, assistive technologies and real users. You find barriers early and can show evidence of compliance.
User acceptance testing support
We plan and coordinate UAT, prepare scenarios and test data, and support your business users through execution and defect handling. Sign-off becomes structured and well-founded.
Our approach
How we work
01
Assess
Review of current testing practices, tools, environments, defect history and release process to find the biggest gaps.
02
Strategy
A risk-based test strategy and automation approach that fits your architecture, delivery model and tools.
03
Implement
Automation frameworks, test data and pipeline integration built, and test cases created for the highest-risk areas first.
04
Run & improve
Testing executed as part of every release, with quality metrics reported and the approach refined over time.
Best practices
What we bring to every engagement
Shift testing left
Defects found during development cost a fraction of those found in production, so testing starts with the requirements.
Follow the test pyramid
Most checks belong at unit and API level, with a smaller set of UI tests that are slower and more fragile.
Test by risk, not by habit
Focus effort on the business-critical flows and the areas that change most often.
Treat test code like production code
Version control, code review and clear design keep automation maintainable as the application evolves.
Make test data a first-class concern
Reliable, privacy-safe test data that complies with GDPR is often the real bottleneck in testing.
Test performance before peak, not during it
Load tests modelled on realistic peak scenarios avoid surprises on launch day or at season peaks.

- Structured UAT with clear sign-off criteria
- Quality dashboards for go/no-go decisions
AI-powered
Unleash the power of AI
We offer the possibility of using AI throughout this work: ready-to-use AI tools, or a customised version built for your organisation that can run inside your own infrastructure. In quality engineering, AI generates test cases from user stories and code changes, creates synthetic test data without exposing personal data, and self-heals automated tests when the user interface changes — so testers spend their time on exploratory testing and risk rather than script maintenance.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to automate our regression tests?
The first critical flows can usually be automated within a few weeks, and coverage then grows release by release. How quickly you reach broad coverage depends on the size of the application and how testable it is.
Which test tools do you use?
We work with your existing tools where they fit, and otherwise recommend established options such as Playwright, Selenium or your platform’s own test tooling. The aim is automation your team can maintain, not a tool we prefer.
Can you test systems supplied by other vendors?
Yes. Independent testing of supplier deliveries is a common need, for example for ERP or SaaS rollouts. Altechy coordinates testing across vendors as your single point of contact, drawing on test specialists from our partner network.
Do we still need our own business users for testing?
Yes, for acceptance: only your people can confirm the system supports how the business works. We reduce their effort with prepared scenarios, test data and coordination, so their time goes on judgement, not admin.
