This privacy policy explains how Altechy AB (“Altechy”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit our website, contact us or work with us as a partner. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection law.

What we collect and why
When you contact us
When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, the subject and your message, plus anything else you choose to tell us. We use this to answer you, to follow up on your enquiry and, if we start working together, to prepare and manage that work. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Partner Portal
If your company is part of our partner network, we store the login details for your Partner Portal account and the company and contact information you provide there. We use it to manage the partnership and to match the right expertise to client assignments. Our legal basis is the agreement with your company and our legitimate interest in running the partner network.
Visiting the website
Like any website, our web server automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and investigate misuse, based on our legitimate interest in running a safe and working website. To protect the contact form against spam we use automated checks on our own server; these do not use cookies and do not build a profile of you.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. WordPress sets strictly necessary cookies only when someone logs in (for example to the Partner Portal), to keep that session secure. Fonts are served from our own server, so no font provider receives your data when you visit.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We use service providers that process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, such as our website hosting and email provider (Hostinger). When an assignment calls for it and you have asked us to help, we may share relevant information about your enquiry with a partner firm in our network that will work on it. If data is processed outside the EU/EEA, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up, and delete them when they are no longer needed. Partner Portal data is kept while the partnership is active and deleted or anonymised after it ends, unless we must keep it longer by law (for example accounting rules). Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Email support@altechy.net and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The latest version is always published on this page.
